The observant among you will notice something highly irregular about this vintage postcard of Stonehenge. That's right, old people are not usually allowed in the inner circle for hygiene reasons.

MEGALITHIC
Here's a TOMTIT exclusive, a very old, very rare postcard that shows Stonehenge actually under construction. Sadly, the postal service would not be invented for another 3,500 years, so the back of the card is blank.

NATIONAL TRYST
An informative map of Stonehenge, taken from the 'Piccolo Good Megalith Guide' (1976).
We hope our readers enjoy a happy - and safe - Vernal Equinox this year. Remember to keep your pets outdoors tonight, and any red coloured children's toys must be broken before Sunrise. Our Grandmother always kept a slice of custard apple clenched tightly beneath her apron to mark this day, ready for eating on the 1st of May.

MEGALITHIC
We know what you're thinking...'A black and white postcard? Blimey, I didn't know Stonehenge was THAT old!'.
Well, it is, maybe even a little bit older. Yes, this is an informative site. No, thank you.
The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed an interesting addition to the familiar megalithic panorama - that's right, a rare 1911 Bristol Pier Monoplane.
We don't fancy it's chances.

MEGALITHIC
Another from the TOMTIT underground facility housing our priceless Stonehenge collection.
Ironically, the building of the archive resulted in the destruction of several megaliths.

VANISHED PEOPLES
Where did they go? Hold on, isn’t that them behind that rock?
Incredibly popular on its publication in 1976 (in Chesterfield, knowledge hungry kids pounced on it, borrowing it as much as twice in nine years), this book was part of a series that included ‘Fakes, Frauds and Phonies’, ‘Strange, Sudden and Unexpected’, ‘Catastrophe, Calamity and Cataclysm’ and ‘A Child’s Treasury Of Speculative Bullshit’.

MEGALITHIC
STONEHENGE is our spiritual home (and, between 1999-2002, also our actual home).
Naturally, we collect postcards of this indescribably evil monument, anticipating the day when we will commandeer a car at gunpoint, show the frightened driver one of these pictures and say 'Take us there, now! And quickly, before the time vortex closes forever'.
